Finally, my yarn order from Sarah’s Yarns arrived! In Jaggerspun Maine Line, I got two cones of a French blue that will hopefully become a sweater for my stepmom, if she likes the color, and another two cones of a natural white that might become a sweater for Glamorous. I also got lots and lots of Mission Falls 1824 Wool — it’s a soft, superwash merino that will hopefully become my hourglass sweater.
I’ve also been collecting the blanket squares that my work-knitters have been putting together — so far two are finished — and more knitting is in the works. I’m planning a massive KnitPicks order, hopefully tomorrow, and in spite of my rule about not buying random one-off balls, I’m gathering up a stash of the KnitPicks Swish (I’m going to try out the DK instead of the worsted-weight) to have on hand for baby gifts. At least two little ones are expected to pop out in the next few months, and I want to be ready.
The bottom line: the stash is getting bigger. And overflowing the closet. Time to get my goodyarnkarma on!
