A neat little something . . .

First things first: Today’s Pavilion of Wings butterfly is one of my favorites . . . if you look closely you can even see the little white tongue dipping down into the flower.
So last night I was hanging out at my apartment (no, I do not actually live at The Baron’s – my yarn lives there, I just visit a lot). It was a wonderful evening, in spite of a little head-cold that seems to be lurking, because just as I walked in my two roomies were sitting down to dinner and they made enough for me! We had a lovely and yummy piece of fish baked with delicious breadcrumbs over a pile of black beans – it was awesome.
Then, as we lingered over our meal and tried to make room for a desert of pudding pops, a cute little fabric bag caught my eye – it was cosmetic-bag sized – just right for knitting notions or a sock project – and the fabric on one side was an artsy photo of three cute little girls. When I remarked on the bag, my roommate Miss B told me that it was actually a picture of her and two childhood friends and was a bridesmaid gift. She ordered the bag on SnapTotes, a website where you can customize bags with your own photos, and she also gave me a card for a 10% discount (snaphappy1, if anyone is interested).
I’m not affiliated with this company in any way, but the bag was really adorable, smooth fabric and what appeared to be sturdy construction (although I didn’t road-test it, just looked it over) and right away I thought of all the knitters out there . . .
